Can I reverse an evolution?
No, unit evolution is permanent and cannot be reversed. Make sure you want to evolve the unit before committing your materials and gold. However, evolved units are always stronger than their base forms, so evolution is generally recommended for all units.
Do evolved units keep their traits and relics?
Yes! All traits, relics, attribute points, and etherealization levels are preserved during evolution. Your investments are completely safe and the evolved unit will benefit from all previous upgrades.
Which units should I prioritize evolving first?
Focus on units that receive the biggest tier improvements or fill critical roles in your team. Units like Shanks (Emperor), Lelouch (Emperor), and Sasuke (Eternal) see dramatic performance increases. Can I use evolved units immediately?
Yes, evolved units can be deployed immediately after evolution. They retain all placement restrictions of the base unit (if any) and can be used in all game modes where the base unit was allowed.
Do I need to evolve a unit to etherealize it further?
No, evolution and etherealization are separate systems. You can continue etherealizing your unit before or after evolution. However, some players prefer to evolve first to take advantage of the higher base stats when etherealizing to E5 or E6.
Are all evolution materials farmable?
Yes, all evolution materials can be obtained through story mode stages, special events, or challenge modes. Some rare materials like Geass Sigil have lower drop rates but no materials are locked behind paywalls.
How much does it cost to evolve all units?

Lessons From Evolving 40+ Units
I ran out of gold halfway through evolving my third E2 unit. Had all the materials, couldn't finish. Minimum 100k gold buffer or you WILL get stuck mid-evolution.
Reality check: E0 to E6 on one Mythic unit costs roughly 350k gold total. Budget accordingly.
