This site focuses on long-form notes about software engineering and web games. There is no registration, login, or comment system, so we do not actively collect personally identifiable information.
1. Traffic analytics
We run lightweight, privacy-friendly analytics to understand aggregated readership. Metrics such as page views, device type, and referrers are recorded in aggregate only and are never linked to an individual.
2. Server logs
When the site encounters errors such as 404 responses or service interruptions, the server records the IP address, request path, and timestamp to aid troubleshooting. Logs are pruned automatically after 30 days.
3. External embeds
Occasionally we embed videos, charts, or other assets hosted on third-party platforms. Any cookies or telemetry they collect are governed by those platforms' own policies.
4. Email communication
Messages that arrive via email are stored so we can reply, provide follow-up materials, or keep a record of prior conversations. They are not shared with anyone else.
