Ghost of the Past

The informant you spared (or arrested) in Episode 2 returns with critical intel about the mastermind.

The Lock-In

ROMANCE FINAL

After high-pressure mission, both BB and IG demand you make your position clear. This is THE moment.

✓ LOCK ROMANCE

"I choose you, [Blonde Blazer/Invisigal]"

LOCKS relationship. Unlocks Episode 6 exclusive combo skills and deep story. Other's favor drops to "Friend".

✗ CATASTROPHIC

"I need more time."

BOTH see you as immature. BOTH Trust -40. Lose ALL romance story. Enter "Lonely" ending route.

○ PROFESSIONAL

"Let's just stay friends."

End all romance. Enter "Career Focus" route (also lose combo skills).

Two key team members publicly fight over tactics (stemming from Episode 3 choices). They're about to come to blows.

Blamed teammate gets [Resentment] Debuff (won't follow orders). Refuses command in Episode 6 critical moment.

The Hard Sacrifice

NO PERFECT SOLUTION

Ultimate weapon activation sequence triggered. Two objectives: Save trapped civilians (Point A) or destroy weapon control (Point B). Choose one.

○ SAVE PEOPLE

Prioritize civilian rescue

Civilians saved (Public Trust +20). Weapon launches (partial). ALL enemies in Ep 6-8 get permanent "Evolved" Buff.

Unlocks hidden "People's Champion" ending cutscene.

○ DESTROY WEAPON

Prioritize weapon destruction

Weapon destroyed, endgame difficulty reduced. Civilian casualties cause massive infamy (Public Trust -30, Government Support -20). Your hero statue destroyed.

Easier final battles, but carry heavy burden.

❤️ Romance Relationship Development

Blonde Blazer (BB) Route

Special Scene: "Reckless Trust"

Plot: BB insists on solo hunting a villain who hurt their family (Episode 3 backstory related).

How to Consolidate:

  • ✗ DON'T choose "You can't go" or "I'll go instead"
  • ✓ MUST choose "I trust you. But take this (item/equipment), and come back alive."
  • Result: Massively boosts favor. BB returns with key intel in Episode 6 and unlocks combo skill "Solar Flare".

Invisigal (IG) Route

Special Scene: "Unseen Scars"

Plot: IG uses excessive force in a mission and has emotional breakdown. Confesses fear of losing control (related to Episode 2 secret).

How to Consolidate:

  • ✗ DON'T choose "This is dangerous" or "You need to control yourself"
  • ✓ MUST choose "I won't judge you. I'll face it with you."
  • Result: She completely trusts you, unlocks full potential, and combo skill "Shadow Weave".

⚠️ Relationship Breakup Warning

If you tried to maintain max favor with BOTH before "The Lock-In" (Choice 3), system will detect it.

Consequence: They'll talk to each other, then BOTH express disappointment. You automatically enter "Lonely" route. Cannot be fixed in this episode.

Episode 2 Informant

(See Critical Choice 2). If you hurt them in E2, they WILL betray you in E5.

Episode 3 Tactical Choice (Brute Force vs Stealth)

If Brute Force: Harsher questioning in "Media Trial" (Charisma check +10 difficulty)

If Stealth: Get brief extra time window in "Hard Sacrifice" to save a few more people.

Episode 4 Resource Allocation (Upgrade Base vs Research Weapon)

If Upgraded Base: Base defense battle at episode end is easier.

If Research Weapon: Base defense extremely hard, but personal damage +20%, destroy weapon control 20% faster in "Hard Sacrifice".

What Can Still Be Salvaged?

Public Trust: Can be recovered through side missions, but requires grind.

What's Irreversible?

Informant's Betrayal: If you hurt them in E2, they MUST betray you in E5.

Romance Breakup: (See Choice 3) Once you choose wrong, cannot recover.

Resource Preparation

  • STOP buying transitional equipment. From E5, ALL resources only for "Legendary" blueprints.
  • Stock [Advanced Med Kits] and [Mental Stabilizers]. E6+ enemies frequently use psy attacks.

Recommended Level: 50

Ability Tree: Main tree should reach at least 80%, unlock at least ONE ultimate skill.

🚫 Common Mistakes (Newbie Traps)

"I Want Everyone" (Romance All)

E5 punishes this behavior, causing you to lose everyone.

Ignoring Team Conflict

Thinking "Team Fracture" (Choice 4) is just story, choosing [B] to forcefully suppress. Results in teammate permanently leaving in E7.

Choosing [C] Strong Response in Media Trial

Players choose to attack media for "satisfaction". Makes E6-E8 experience hell mode - NPCs won't help you at all.

Hesitating in "Hard Sacrifice"

Trying to find "both" solution. There isn't one. Must choose quickly, or timer ends resulting in DOUBLE FAILURE (civilians not saved, weapon launches).

I angered Blonde Blazer in E3. Can I still choose them in E5?

Yes, but E5 favor checks are stricter. You MUST complete all their exclusive side missions before "The Lock-In" (Choice 3) to restore trust to "Trusted" level.

If I chose [A] save civilians in "Hard Sacrifice", how much harder is endgame?

Very hard. Enemies get "Evolved" Buff. But your "Heroism" maxes out, unlocking hidden "People's Champion" ending cutscene.

I missed E5 romance lock (chose B or C). Can it be fixed?

Romance can't be fixed. But you can grind team missions to convert lost favor to "Team Bond", unlocking "Band of Brothers" ending route (no romance, but extreme team cohesion).

Why is my [Government Support] always negative?

Check your E2-E4 choices. If you always chose "Public" over "Order", this is inevitable. In E5, choosing "Media Trial" [A] further lowers it. But don't worry - "Public" and "Government" routes lead to different endgame paths.

"Ghost of the Past" informant - I killed them in E2. What happens in E5?

They won't appear. You automatically lose that intel. System prompts "Your past is blank... but you've also lost clues." Must spend massive resources (or sacrifice a teammate) in E6 to fill intel gap. This is consequence.

Team conflict mediation failed (insufficient Charisma). What now?

Reload save. If you refuse to reload, immediately do that teammate's "Loyalty Mission" - this is your last chance. If loyalty mission also fails, prepare to fight them as enemy in E7.
