Story & Lore Easter Eggs

How to Find
Collect all AIDA Files and read all computer terminals
How to Activate
Read all references to piece together the story
💡 Tips
- The portrait in Impossible House office shows Cesar Turing
- His initials 'C.T.' appear hidden throughout the game

Samuel's Extra Dialogues

Exhaust all dialogue options with Samuel
💡 Tips
- Samuel appears in 7 different chapters
- Each time you meet him, keep talking until he repeats himself

Fake vs Real Reality Layers
The game contains multiple 'fake' scenes that are simulations within simulations. Small visual cues help you identify which reality layer you're in.
How to Find
Pay attention to subtle visual glitches and inconsistencies
💡 Tips
- The Impossible House exists in at least 3 different reality layers
- Your apartment changes subtly each time you return
- Some collectibles only exist in specific reality layers
- The 'Infinite Loop' ending makes this all make sense
Gameplay Secrets & Exploits
Hidden mechanics and techniques
Infinite Karma Cat Method
The apartment cat can be petted unlimited times for +1 karma each. While tedious, this allows you to guarantee any ending regardless of your decisions.

Return to apartment between chapters
How to Activate
Pet the cat repeatedly
Reward
+1 Karma per pet (unlimited)
💡 Tips
- You can bind a macro to automate this (at your own risk)

- The cat's appearance changes based on current karma
- This is NOT required for any achievement
Step-by-Step Method
- Complete Prologue to unlock apartment returns
- Return to apartment between any chapter
- Pet the cat ~200 times to max out karma
- This takes about 10-15 minutes
Boss Dialogue Skip Trick
You can skip boss introduction dialogues by pressing ESC twice in quick succession. Saves 30-90 seconds per boss fight.
How to Find
Enter boss room
How to Activate
Press ESC twice during boss intro cutscene
💡 Tips
- Doesn't work on first-time boss encounters in a new save
- Only works on subsequent attempts after dying
- Some cutscenes are unskippable for story reasons
Developer Weapon Cache
Behind the barn is an 'X' marked in white paint. Shooting it exactly 5 times reveals a hidden weapons cache left by developers for testing.
How to Find
Shoot the 'X' mark on the barn wall 5 times
How to Activate
Reveal hidden cache by shooting marked spot
Reward
Prototype weapon 'Dev Cannon' and infinite ammo mod
💡 Tips
- You must use the pistol - other weapons don't trigger it
- The 'X' is very faint - use your flashlight
- Using Dev Cannon disables speedrun leaderboards
- This is the developers' way of letting players 'cheat' officially
Contains
- Dev Cannon (One-shot kills any enemy)
